Books VS eBooks

Publié le 17 Février 2015

Publishers today don't do their work nor homework anymore... i.e. look for writers and scout talent... and promote writers... writers who made them rich and famous as they are today...

They're sitting there expecting you to send them their next best seller... while reaping all the money and benefits... they hardly create jobs... and will only probably take you on if you know someone or know someone who knows someone...

Who needs this ?

Today anybody who can put words together in the best -or worst- fashion can get published and sell on their own... there are a number of sites who will enable this once called vanity publishing... but who were the first publishers if not mere vanity publishers ?

Most writers cannot afford -at least in the beginning- the kerfuffle of publishing and printing their own book(s), managing the logistics, ... when they have the space...

So it appears eBooks might be just it !

Ebooks offer the option of minimized logistics and minimal costs and efforts... clocking up thousands of books storable in the one pocket device... and readable on most tablets and smartphones... while saving space and seriously curbing pollution...

Reading eBooks will also make the reader save a lot of money... as most of the classics now come free to download... for your greatest reader pleasure !

Ebooks authors -if they work hard enough for it- will collect most of their rights and may end up doing very well for themselves... and sadly won't be missed by published who couldn't see...
