ePublishing & eReading
ePublishing offers authors many options for readership...
Still... eReaders remain few and far between and reading supports of all sorts
fail to meet the one requirement of supplying readers with on solution...
Every reader brings its own options often with its own list of problems and challenges...
The discerning eReader today should ideally have one type of reader perd publisher
unless they go for publishers which offer multifprmat publishing thus enabling eReaders to eRead from any source
all on the one reader...
All ePublishers fail to promote their authors
at a time when the market is exponential...
YouScribe
http://en.youscribe.com
offers an easy solution for multiformat and all readers...
Smashwords
http://www.smashwords.com
is another popular platform
which could greatly improve its offer and has so many formatting limitations that it verges on discouragement...
for Kindle
https://kdp.amazon.com/self-publishing/signin
easy publishing
or for the paper / audio / video bversion
https://www.createspace.com
createspace proves to be very difficult to publish on... whereas the kdp is very easy
and one wonders why Amazon didn't simply use kdp for all format...
furthermore their client services and assistance is very poor
(often dealt with helpdeskers which have a very poor command of English)
which lets the company down...
We have contacted Amazon on many occasions on this without any satisfactory answer to date...
The writer will decide which platform(s) suit them best, one or more...
Having published on kdp, YouScribe and Smashwords
I have only so far sold on YS and SM...
